Jenna Laine
Broadcast, Print, & Multimedia Sports Journalist
Who I Am
I'm Jenna Laine, a freelance Sports Journalist in Tampa, Florida. I specialize in Broadcast, Print, Radio, and Multimedia Journalism, with a strong background in SEO and Social Media.
I've covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for five years, and just wrapped up my first season covering the Bucs and other NFL teams for the Sports Xchange.
My work has been featured on Yahoo! Sports, CBS Sports, NFL.com, and a number of other print and online publications. You can find me hosting a weekly Bucs show on Spreecast.
I author an NFL Blog called the "Sassy Side of Sports," where I offer news, insight, and analysis on a number of issues pertinent to the league. There you'll find links to my latest stories and podcasts as well.
If you're interested in my NFL writing and samples of my other work (including college football and MLB) you can check out my Portfolio and view my Resume.
I am available for freelance writing and TV assignments, as well as guest blogging opportunities, radio call-ins, guest TV appearances, and more. Email me if you're interested.
What I Do
As a multi-platform journalist, I pretty much do it all - Print, Online, Radio, and TV! My specialty is in the realm of sports. I've done everything from producing radio and TV shows to writing for print and putting together multimedia packages for online features. And in the age of social media, I somehow managed to carve out a niche there too :)
I've had the privilege of covering Super Bowl XLIV, Super Bowl XLIII, the Beef 'O' Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl, Senior Bowl, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, Indianapolis Colts, University of South Florida Bulls, University of Louisville, University of Southern Mississippi, Tampa Bay Rays, Detroit Tigers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, Team USA Baseball at the World Baseball Classic, and the LFL for MTV2.
If you want to keep tabs on me to read my newest stories, or if you just want to talk sports, be sure to follow me on Facebook and Twitter, and subscribe to my Blog!
